The reason I ask you this is because if you know that God doesn't exist, you must know EVERYTHING! You would have to be omnipitent! But if athiests said "I don't know for sure if God exists" that would seem smarter. But even then I wouldn't consider it to be to smart to say... because you look at a painting, you know their is a painter... you look at a building you know their is a builder, you look at a sculpture, you know that their is a sculpter, but yet you look at Creation and say their is no Creator? maybe I don't understand athiesm, but I thought that athiest wanted information that "Makes sense"

I am going to hit you with my beliefs on this subject.
Being as I am. My belief in God is standing at, until I meet him, I cannot believe he exsists. Their is one thing that just isn't answered by the bible, if God created everything, who or what created God? Matter cannot be created, it has to have exsisted at some form or another before becoming what it is today. The Big Bang theory gives us more into the subject of our universes creation. But it still doesn't answer where that meterial came from.
As an athiest, I can say that the best way to realize why everything exsists is because according to science everything is evolving. And if you thin about it, the universe has to be older then what the big bang tells us it is otherwise meterial in the big bang wouldn't exsist.
If your wondering about what I have just been ranting about, it is this. God nor science can offer all the answers, science is getting better but looking at God and saying, oh, he did everything and we should thank him for it just makes me wonder, who shoudl we thank for creating God?

As human beings, we have a beginning and an end, we are finite beings that have a Creator. Because of that, our minds can't comprehend that God just simply always was, before the beginning, He is God, this is what He says about Himself: "I AM the one who IS, WAS, and who is COMING" He was God in the past, He is God now, and He'll still be God in the future.
